Tracked from Jul 1, 2026 through Jul 20, 2026. Final outcome: Rejected.

The process started out incredibly strong. I moved quickly through screening, to hiring manager, to technical. At the technical is where I think proper communication fell apart a bit. I was not only interviewed by a member from a completely different team with a completely different vertical, but I was tested on behavioral approach and not technical depth. At that point I was rejected for not showing strong enough knowledge of the product or technical depth. All the while being told that both the HM and Technical Interviewed applauded my Culture Fit and Technical Knowledge. Very confusing end to what seemed like such a strong opening. The next step would have been a practical where I could set up my own Demo of the product and create a powerpoint to give a mock presentation. I feel like that should have been the disqualification point on technical ability but for whatever reason I was not pulled forward to show what I can actually do in a real world situation.
