Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Intreviewed collects, what becomes public, what stays internal, and why contributor verification exists during beta.
Last updated: June 28, 2026
Our privacy posture
Intreviewed is built around a simple rule: public reviews should be anonymous, while contribution should be verified enough to protect data quality.
We do not publish contributor names, user IDs, raw email addresses, raw IP addresses, hashed emails, hashed IPs, moderation notes, or internal database IDs on public company pages.
Information you provide
If you create an account, we process account information needed for authentication, such as your email address or identity-provider account details returned by Google or LinkedIn.
If you submit a review, we process the review fields you provide, including role title, employment type, interview stage, response time, interview count, ratings, ghosting flags, hiring timeline context, and public review text.
If you add a missing company with a first review, we process the proposed company name and lightweight metadata such as website, industry, and location when provided.
MFA and contributor verification
MFA is used to protect contributor and admin actions. The app stores account-level markers such as whether MFA has been verified, but public reviews do not show that identity information.
A current elevated session may be required before you can submit reviews, add missing companies, or access admin/moderation screens.
Hashing and abuse controls
Optional reviewer email values used for duplicate-prevention workflows are HMAC-hashed before storage.
IP addresses used for abuse prevention, rate limiting, and operational safety are HMAC-hashed before storage.
Hashing reduces exposure, but it is still treated as sensitive internal data and is not shown publicly.
Public review publication
Approved public reviews may show structured hiring-process information such as role title, interview stage, employment type, response days, interview count, ratings, ghosting flags, and the public review text.
Private moderation context, contributor account information, duplicate-prevention data, internal IDs, raw IPs, and raw emails are not part of the public review display.
Moderation records
Moderation actions may store internal status, rejection reason, moderation notes, audit entries, and timestamps so the platform can operate safely and consistently.
Moderation records are intended for platform operations and are not displayed on public company profiles.
Analytics and telemetry
Intreviewed may track operational and beta validation data such as searches, no-result searches, submissions, approval rates, company coverage, and aggregate usage metrics.
These metrics help determine whether the beta is useful and where company coverage needs to improve.
Data retention
The platform includes database cleanup and retention controls for operational data such as search events, review events, rejected submissions, and retention run audits.
Retention policies may evolve during beta as usage patterns and safety requirements become clearer.
Third-party services
Intreviewed uses third-party infrastructure and authentication providers, including Supabase, Google, LinkedIn, AWS, Cloudflare, and GitHub-related deployment tooling.
Those services may process data necessary to provide authentication, hosting, security, traffic routing, logging, and deployment.
Your choices
You can browse public company data without creating an account.
You can choose not to submit a review or not to provide optional review fields.
If you need an account or submission reviewed, corrected, or removed, contact the project owner through the available launch/support channel.
